What an incredible day to be in the mountains. Conditions and temperatures were prime (dry and cool). The start and finish points for this FKT were a little ambiguous, so Julien and I decided to establish firm locations for those who'd like to run the route going forward: Start at the Lafayette Campground Visitor Center building, and end at the Crawford Depot building. We'd also like to propose changing the name of this FKT to "Franconia Notch to Crawford Notch" for consistency. Our splits:
