Blooming LUSH day out.
Took the 919 to Fort Augustus from Inverness and set out. Warm one today, but meant the trails were decent underfoot.
Got to the diversion point and was assured by a group of hikers that the standard route was open - had to hop rocks to cross the river but success so route taken is the "standard" not the diverted route that goes down the road and is a smidge shorter.
Resupplied water at Falls of Foyers cafe, and Dores Inn, all other fuel carried throughout.
Had a blast, had to race it in for the last 5 miles or so to finish before my garmin died... Mile 42 to Tomnahurich Bridge ended up being the fastest of the day! (Nothing like a garmin on the fritz to make you pull your finger out!!)
Overall fab day out, very runnable route and super happy with how that went!
