The route raised $300 each for a CT cancer charity, the CFPA and for a CT Homeless Charity. It also made the International , Country and State News.
I slept in a museum one night, caves and peoples houses on the way and even made a makeshift shelter on Ragged Mountain to sleep for an hour in the snow one night. I would love to see others go out and do this route. I saw immense kindness and generosity on the trail and had a huge number of people come out to visit me and support my journey.
