FKT: Lenn Mensenkamp - Hermannsweg (Germany) - 2024-10-03

I ran the entire Hermannsweg on October 2/3. Started around 9am in Rheine. About every 20km I hava someone waiting for me with a car to resupply food, water etc. Changed shoes once at km20 from road to trail. At km83, I had my first pacer, which then changed twiced after abour 10km each. Went a bit by myself and met my 4th and last pacer around km 126. Started raining at the Hermannsdenkmal. Continued on by myself from there. Saw 3 wild boars and bunch of deer. Also started raining here. Struggled with navigation between Hermannsdenkmal and Externsteine, as it was dark, super foggy and rainy. Also lots of mud due to recent logging activity here. Finished around 9am at the train station.
