I ran the The Millennium Trail in Prince Edward County, Ontario from end to end, starting at the canal in Carrying Place & ending north of Picton. Running in winter was an extra hard challenge. The snow on the trail had been churned up by atv wheels, which turned it into a huge leg workout, basically like running on thick sand for the first 38 or 39kms. It was quite windy (cold) between Wellington & Bloomfield. Luckily closer to Picton the trail got more solid & I was able to finish strong. My favourite part was the bridge across Consecon Lake. I carried 2L of water in my pack as well as maple syrup and Xact fruit bars to get me through.
