Ran solo doing the loop counter-clockwise. Too short to need water or food.
So many reasons why today was much faster than in May when I did this last. First of all the weather. Ideal. Can't beat it. Also trail maintenance. Last time the trail was a mess and there were a ton of blowdowns on the ridge. Whomever cleaned those up as a saint. Also just being in better shape so I went hard. I hardly ran last winter I know I was only just getting into some sort of running shape again by May. I really love the solitude and ruggedness of this trail.
