Needed these peaks for grid two and I hate them so I decided to full send on tired legs from missing two nights of sleep at Bubbas last weekend. Wet, leafy muddy trails. I don't think the Cannonballs are ever in good conditions, but they were especially rough today. My legs were led from the start but I just tried to be consistent with pacing and not stop at all for pictures which was hard with the gorgeous leafs and undercast heading up to cannon. Kinsmans were in a cloud though. Had a nice slide off a slab and landed with one shin on the slab and one foot dangling off, and had a nice ankle roll trying to get around people on the Lonesome Lake descent but overall it was fun and just the kick in the butt I needed today.
