Had absolutely perfect weather! Was a bit nervous about doing this on the weekend what with busy trails, but people were very courteous and moved off to the side. Had done a few recon days on the first half of the route until Mt Washington, which I'm sure helped take some minutes off my previous record, along with dry footing and visibility. Felt great until Lake of the Clouds where I had to drop the pace because of nausea, but luckily it went away somewhere around Pierce for the final descent. Filled water at Madison and Lake of the Clouds huts. I think I just squeezed this in before the taps turn off for the season and the leaves start to cover the trails!
