I ran a supported FKT on the Northern Rail Trail in NH, starting in Boscawen Aug. 12, running north to Lebanon. Then returning from Lebanon to Boscawen. I ran with my husband crewing for me, we had designated crew points at approximately 10-12 mile intervals. I carried 2L of fluids with me in a pack, along with food. I resupplied at the crew points, and also had food/beverages from local restaurants.
It was hot and humid, with one big storm on the 2nd day, but the trail conditions were very nice! Trail surface required cushioned trail shoes, and lots of bug spray was needed! I took a couple 15 minute naps at night, then finished just past sunset on Aug. 13.
