I ran this alone, setting off in the early afternoon. Following several days of rain, this day was unusually very warm weather of 26°C, which made the run quite challenging and I had to run much slower than expected. Although the trail is well-marked, I ran solo for much of the route, only seeing a few hikers in the final kilometres, and the trail was somewhat overgrown in sections so it does not appear to be frequently used. I carried all of the supplies that I needed, however, there is a possibility to resupply with water from a publicly-accessed source approximately halfway at the campsite. I intend to return and run the route again on a day with cooler weather and hopefully there will be fewer mosquitoes.
Overall, a fun route with a mixture of terrain and some slightly technical sections that kept it interesting.
