Report
Followed the AKP route starting and finishing at Glen Alpine Trailhead. Ran solo with no resupplies and filtered water at a small, beautiful snow-fed lake NW of Pyramid Peak. Signed a few summit registers and enjoyed only 5 other human contacts and unbelievably gorgeous November weather. Routefinding was tricky and I had a few blowups, but I'm very much in love with this zone and this route.
