A great day up in the mountains. Started a little after 8am on Saturday Aug 26. Temps were pretty cool around low 50's with a good amount of cloud cover the whole day. Brought 2 soft flasks, 6 gels, a few bars, jacket, gloves, and inreach. A few very minor nav errors on some of the technical sections but for the most part a very clean run. Scouting out the section between Angle Pass and Richmond Mtn a few weeks before was 100% worth it. Took a new line down the south face of Ruby to finish it off, I had never done it before. Steep and loose but much more direct then the standard route down past the lake and out the Forest Service Rd. Most likely quicker but tough to say!
