This route had been developing in my head for quite a while and when Corey asked if I was keen to run part of it but in reverse I managed to convince him to run it uphill and longer! The route goes from the first village in the Blue Mountains to the last starting at Glenbrook 163m above sea level and finishing at Mount Victoria 1043m with 2500m in between. We had quite a few stops as Corey had raced the weekend before so will be good to see a faster time and run a faster time solo at some point. I also used this as my first run in the UTMB virtual 240km/20000m challenge. It is a great route - we stayed on top of the escarpment rather than crossing the valley to go through the villages and make it more like the train route. Really enjoyed it plus I got to finish at home as I live in Mount Victoria!
