Pilgrims Trail 27/09/2020
Set off solo from Winchester cathedral carrying all water and fuel required, following a GPX file which did turn out to be quite unreliable in places (I have tried to include pics of the trail signs were the actual route differed from the GPX) but generally there were a few unclear parts which resulted in the extra distance due to backtracking.
The trail parts of the route were lovely but there was a lot of road (not all of which felt safe). The descent into Portsmouth always gives the most rewarding views and the route also goes past the new My Dog Sighs mural in Hilsea which is worth a visit.
