An awesome day on a classic Chilliwack River Valley test piece. A big caveat on this FKT... it is very possible, if not likely, that at some point someone has done this faster. We took healthy breaks, chatted with the one other party we encountered, and only really pushed the pace in the last 2 hrs or so. We also pitched out two pitches on the ascent, which some climbers would likely simul/solo. In the absence of a faster time publicly available, I wanted to publish this so that others are inspired to go fast on this route! The bushwacky approach is unpleasant but the mountain is well worth the price of entry.
Note - this should be obvious, but this very much qualifies as an alpine climb and deserves respect as such. Bring a good alpine rack & a minimum 40m rope for rappels.
