The FKT was self supported because I bought 1 l of water at Matrashaus. Start is at the Railway Station in Werfen and finish at the Boat Station in Salet
Werfen train station via Dielalm, Ostpreussenhütte and Übergossene Alm to the Matrashaus (2990) (2500m, 17.5km, 3: 20h)
Then the terrain became more difficult: on the Herzogsteig and the Marterlkopf (2400) over the ridge to the Brandhorn (2600)
complete Crossing the stone sea and descending to the Wasseralm
via Röthsteig - Obersee to Salet.
Approx. 30 km pathless through furrowed karst terrain and rubble, not a single person met up to the Wasseralm ...
through the consistently difficult terrain over a very long time really demanding alpine run
