Rained hard for the first 3 hours so getting across the AT spine was tough-- lots of creek running as it flowed down the trail! Wasn't expecting to beat Hank's FKT, but when I began my descent the rain stopped and I got to open up a bit. I hope someone claims this FKT from me to give me a reason to go back and challenge it (just please don't break it by too much!!)!
