Departed the North Face store at 7am solo. Clear morning and no wind with stunning weather all day. Summited Cascade at around 9:30am. Returned to Banff at around 11:30am and refilled water at public water tap in a park along the route. Summited Rundle at around 3:30pm. Returned to the valley at around 5pm and refilled water in the Spray River using my water filter. Summited Sanson Peak at around 5:30pm. Returned to the North Face store at 6:34pm. Only wildlife sighting was a female elk at around 3.5kms to go. Following is a summary of all the gear I carried from start to finish and nutrition.
Running belt: phone, head torch, Garmin InReach, bear spray, empty water flask (for water filtration), hat, hand warmers
Running vest: water filter, 3 litre hydra pack water bladder, first aid kit, pocket knife (Spyderco para 3 lightweight), ventolin inhaler, lightweight power bank, wind breaker, long sleeve running top, running poles
Nutrition: 1.2 litres of maple syrup, sodium pills, gatorade powder, 4 cliff bars
