Starting at the pit toilet on the top of Sonora Pass Hwy 108, head northbound on the Pacific Crest Trail, I stopped at Hwy 4 Ebbetts Pass after the first section and left early the next morning. I ended at the Carson Pass Visitors Center. I started on Friday at 6:15 am and finished on Saturday at 2:18 pm, it was supported by my dad. These two passes are very similar in distance have good access to water from creeks and lakes, pending on how much snow fell and what time of the season you do this. These passes are a great taste of the different ecosystems you can get throughout the Sierra and there are a lot less people on these sections. Stopped at Hwy 4 and stopped tracking. Slept down the highway and started again at the same point of stopping. Near PCT sign on the north side of the Hwy. Ended at Carson Pass Visitors Center.
