On August 5 Lucy, Lydia, Cara, Anna, Abby, Jodi, and I set out unsupported on the best party run ever to celebrate Lydia and my upcoming weddings. We did the loop in reverse, starting at the Mill D trailhead and ascending from Spruces Campground to Honeycomb Cliffs, over to Clayton Peak, down to Guardsman Pass, and then looping back to Mill D on the Wasatch Creset Trail. This run was sheer bliss with wildflowers out in full force. We went party pace with lots of stops for snacks and mountain gazing. We carried all our own food and filtered water at Twin Lakes Resevoir. We hope that in posting our big day out we'll inspire other ladies in the Wasatch to get after it and post even speedier times!
