On February 21st 2026, I began the Leicestershire Round at the Bradgate Park gates, in Newtown Linton Linford. I completed the full circuit, finishing at the same point- the main gates into Bradgate park.
I was fully supported, and received assistance from support crew at pre-arranged meeting points for food, fluid, and sock changes. Support crew also ran sections with me so I was never running on my own. Nobody did the full route with me though.
I followed the established and way marked route o the Leicestershire Round, and did not take any intentional route changes. Sometimes I accidentally deviated from the route due to navigation errors- especially when it was dark and I was tired.
The official route is 100 miles. My recorded total distance is 104. My watch battery died at 98.5 miles, and so I quickly charged it enough to start a new workout, which measured 5.5 miles.
At around mile 60, I developed calf pain in both legs which impacted my pace quite dramatically during the last 20 miles of my attempt. Despite this significant pain, I continued on the established route and completed without any medical intervention.
My effort was completed continuously without any sleep.
