Run-Walk around Sevan Lake and a successful attempt for the first person ever to cover the route solo! The first 120km went smoothly, unfortunately the night brought strong headwind which turned the whole experience into filled with injuries 80km train wrack. For the first 100km I had a friend Luca Keushgerian following me on a bike, and carrying my snacks, and extra water. During the night I had friends supporting me in a car, and one runner Pavel to jog with me. The next morning, we had more friends joining us bringing more food, water, and good mood that I needed after running for so long. Around kilometer 170 I tore one of ankle ligaments and had to walk for over 6h to the finish point, still had a lot of fun as a few friends brought beers, and we walked all together.
I'm very happy I could get an FKT rout in Armenia, as it's a first one in the region! The route is absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait for someone to steal my FKT and run it faster!
