Despite the awful weather (heavy rain, snow, and hail), I had the best day ever! I started the attempt from Szklarska Poręba at 04:57 am, and followed the official route - the whole trail is well marked yet I had a GPS file (from the FKT page) on my watch. I ran by myself the whole time and did not receive any kind of support. I resupplied food and drinks along the way in shops that are located on the official trail - over all three grocery pitstops in Karpacz, Miroszów i Boguszów Gorce, I also sent two small packages with gels to self-service parcel lockers (Paczkomat) in Kowary, and Boguszów Gorce.
