FKT: Maia Buckingham - Cross-Moosalamoo Trail (VT) - 2023-08-19

When I arrived at the Oak Ridge trailhead to start this route, I found that it was washed out from flooding earlier this summer and impossible to enter via car. I drove around looking for a different place to park but ultimately decided to instead start at Moosalamoo Campground which is pretty much exactly halfway through the route. To honor what's been the traditional N-S-N out and back, I started at the Moosalamoo Trail trailhead and headed north to tag RT125 first. I then turned back and headed south to RT73, then north again to finish at the campground. The route was an excellent mix of trails and surprisingly not a mess after the incredibly wet summer we've had. It was particularly fun to be back on sections of the old Infinitus course.
