Downloaded the GPX file here and followed the route submitted by ATNEM (Allen!). Ended up doubling back and adding a small bit of mileage on the Kwaay Paay descent. Very gnarly to begin with the South Fortuna stairs... I usually avoid them :)
A very supported attempt (literally got water from a house at the trailhead between Kwaay Paay and Cowles) — will go back and reattempt unsupported in a few weeks. Smokey day with relatively mild weather. Ran with a couple of friends, one of whom ditched us before Pyles and another who made it with me the whole way.
Looking forward to giving this one another crack ASAP!
