Amazing experience! 0400 start, supported by James K and Claudia who were great throughout providing water, juice and encouragement. Kept pace and HR nice and easy for first couple of hours so as to preserve energy for bigger climbs that were to come in the final 3rd of the route. The views were awesome once the sun rose and I was delighted to finish at the jebel al lawz viewing point which allows panoramic views of the whole area for miles. A great finish to a memorable day. Highly recommended!
