Dave Phillips and I set off from Chipping Camden at approximately 04:12 on Saturday 10 October 2020 hoping to achieve a new fkt for the cotswold way we followed the gpx downloaded from the national trails website. We were crewed and supported by Steve Platts and Helen Darbyshire who met us every two or three hours and supplied us with much needed food and encouragement. Dave wasn't feeling great after 90k so rested and both Steve and dave supported me running through the last 40 k. Dave and I arrived in Bath at the acorn which represents the end of the trail at approximately 21:29. Had a couple of watch issues my coros apex decided to switch itself off and restart but almost the entire distance is covered on Steve and daves watches and gpx files. Had a cracking time was really challenging and scenic route look forward to running some sections of it again.
An astonishingly fast time on a tough trail. Could you share any details of your splits and timings please? Do you have a Strava account??
