Long day up the Middle Fork, over the Dutch Miller Gap. Snow just below the Gap to where Waptus River exits Ivanhoe. The descent to Ivanhoe was a bit tricky with the snow. We saw a few people < 10 out enjoying the 4th of July holiday, but mostly solo miles until we reached Pete Lake. We both ran out of food with 2-3 hours left and the pace slowed way down.
