Started out at 7:30am and the roads were clear, weather was perfect so only had shorts and a t-shirt on. Having looked at the previous routes I managed to utilise my London road knowledge and refine the route to slightly less elevation and distance to the previous FKT (Marginal Gains).
The route was fast and dry, unfortunately David who started out with me had to drop off at 8km due to a slight hamstring strain however I pressed on when it became apparent he couldn't continue (Wouldn't have done this on a trail but we live local).
Ran unsupported and took some Maurten 160 mix as well as a couple of gels.

- Liverpool St Station
- Fleet St (Took a slightly different route through Bank)
- Bow Street
- Leicester Square
- Trafalgar Square
- Strand (Did this after rather than prior to Bow Street)
- Northumberland Avenue
- Whitehall
- Pall Mall
- Coventry St
- Picadilly
- Vine St
- Regent St
- Great Malborough St
- New Bond St (As per Miki's report there isn't an actual Bond St anymore)
- Mayfair (Grosvenor Square & Brook Street)
- Park Lane
- Oxford St
- Marylebone Station (I went to Train Station rather than Underground, It was slightly further)
- Euston Road
- Kings Cross Station
- Pentonville Rd
- The Angel Islington
Great route by Mark Lamb and cracking previous attempt by Miki and Kelly, would definitely run this again!
