Surely this has been done lots faster by someone - and surely can be done lots faster by many.  Really beautiful route, and amazing backcountry feel right in the Bay Area. I ran west to east, adding Mission Peak which seems like the obvious thing to do (traversing it from north to south and then hitting the Ohlone trail at Eagle Spring camp), and hitting Rose Peak as well.  Part of the McCorkle trail in Sunol is closed right now, so you have to take the gravel road through Little Yosemite and then up the steep Backpack Road.  I think this makes it a tad longer but slightly less climbing. I also stayed on the official Ohlone trail near Stewart's camp, meaning you do not go through that camp on Greenside Road (as indicated on the alltrails and ohlone 50k map) but instead stay east of it, per the trail signage and the official Ohlone trail map. This makes it a bit shorter and i think cuts out a bit of climbing.  Total distance for me was 26.8mi and 7.3k climbing, per my Coros.  Took it pretty easy, taking lots of pics, chatting up anyone who wanted to chat.

The taps were off at Sunol Park but creeks were flowing everywhere (we are at about normal for rain this year in the Bay) so filling was easy, but you 100% want to filter since basically the whole thing is grazed. I used salomon filter cap.  Remarkable number of folks headed up to Mission peak at the start, quiet down to Sunol, surprising number of folks headed up to Rose peak from Sunol, and then fairly quiet to Del Valle.  Lots of steeps left after Rose Peak. Those east bay trails keep coming at you...  Easy uber to the start, thx to my kind spouse for the del Valle pick-up.
