I started on the path at the Swedish side of the border after camping on the Swedish side from the night before.

The first kilometer is very fast and nice trail in the mountains, But than the path gets more technical, and at times quite steep downhill along a canyon and some waterfalls. After about 7,5 kilometers and almost 600 m downhill I came to a faster tractor-track through the forest. The path ended at the beach by the pier in the old village of Hellemobotn. Which lies in the end of the fjord at the narrowest point of Norway.

My time was 46:23, and afterwards I had to jog back up to get my backpack and hike down again.

The village of Hellemobotn is now aboandoned, but in the summer some people sitll live there, and there is a boat from Kjøpsvig a few times each week.

According to a locals the best previous time on the route was about 57 minutes. And according to "Avisa Nordland" Thorkild Gundersen did a record in 63 minutes in 2004 https://www.an.no/sport/sprang-norge-pa-tvers-pa-63-minutter/s/1-33-1185338.
