There is very varied terrain on this route - from overgrown grassy paths to dodging cars on country roads and a small portion along the Danevirke Fortification Walls. Most of the route is on farm/forest roads and on paths along country roads, though. I carried 2.5 L of water and enough gels to avoid stopping along the way
