Was planning to go to the trailhead anyway and saw there was an FKT loop there so gave it a go as a fun training run! Went counter clockwise taking the switchbacks on the way up. Really toasty day (ended with temps in high 80s) so the stream crossings were welcome. Pretty rocky and overgrown throughout and particularly along the ridge on the back half, but still pretty runnable. Added on some extra mileage at the end on the fire road but completed the loop in 2:32:39. Will be back to try and break 2:30!
