Did this run about 6 months ago, didn't think to submit it as an FKT route but once I saw Vermont Route 100 on here it seemed reasonable that this could be as well. Ran from north to south, NH to CT. Wasn't going for speed as I didn't have "FKT" in mind but kept a decent pace throughout, also stopping to take photos and whatnot (including a mandatory selfie at Club Castaway sign). From what I recall there is always at the very least a small shoulder to run in, if not a comfortably wide one or a sidewalk. I never felt like too much of a nuisance to traffic. Many long stretches are quite plain and monotonous but then I'd hit stuff like bustling downtown Westfield or the hectic consumer hell of King St. Northampton and get a second wind. My girlfriend met me around mile 33 where I re-upped on food and water. Felt the hills in Southampton but they broke things up a bit. The last 5 miles or so were torturous, that whole Southwick/close to CT part has maybe the worst small shoulder/heavy traffic/annoying intersection combo of the whole route, plus by then I was fading -- definitely should've drank more water. Felt great to tap that blue Connecticut sign.
