This had been on my radar for a bit, figured I’d give it a go on my way out of Yosemite. Andrew Pittman had quite the crazy summer on Eastside ridges and had just run this a couple days ago. Was a pretty uneventful day, I didn’t move super well and there was a lot of verglas on the first peak. I also chose poor shoes with not great traction. Like Andrew, I couldn’t find the chimney at the crux and had to do a down-climb on the west side. While not technically that difficult, the rock was absolutely heinous. Glad to make it out of there ok. I think I really made up all my time on the long trail descent, would have been in trouble without that.
