Muddy and cold conditions, but great fun out on one of my favourite trails. Due to the point 2 point nature of the course I ran this as a double attempt, so there and back as fast as I could. The first leg to the Hurcot Hill end of the Polden way (the harder way as it has more climbing) felt really good. At the end of the Polden Way, I dropped down Hurcot Hill running an extra 250metres to make sure I crossed the GPS point end of the way before turning around and running the route in reverse. Struggled to keep the heart rate as high as I wanted it it be on the way back, but the extra downhills on the way back did make it slightly easier.
Look forward to seeing someone smash the time soon!!
PS. gpx attached is for both ways, but I've checked on Garmin & Strava at the elapsed time as I finish in line with the end of the trail, which both read 37:57
