Started my day a little before 6am, with a 2.77 easy run to the Milwaukee/Ozaukee County Line. From that point, it was go time! The run started out very nice, with birds chirping, a trail completely free of snow (for the first ~20 miles), and podcasts.

Throughout the day, I passed a lot of walkers, did, runners, and even cyclists. The nice weather above freezing really helped. Going thrift Thiensville, Mequon, Cedarburg, Grafton, and Port Washington went super fast. North of Port Washington is where I encountered snow on the trail. It was also very quiet, as I was among the farm fields of Northern Ozaukee County. The hardest part was the final 5k to the north county line. I had to blaze my own path through the snow.

The way back south included more snow. Once I arrived back in Port Washington, I said goodbye to the snow. The rest of the run went fast, hitting city after city. The temps were rising, but I did have a headwind. Overall, it went great.

After arriving back at the Milwaukee/Ozaukee County line, I went another 3km back to my car. In all, I went 101.24km (62.9mi).

Fuel included GU Energy Labs gels (5), pickles, applause, Mamma Chia Cherry Love squeeze pack, a whole fruit bar, and fruit snacks (3).

Hydration included Nuun Hydration Kona Cola and Wild Berry and V8 Banana Stratagem Energy (2).
