Started in Deadwood, did about 48/49 miles the first day. Stealthed in Hill City.
Finished it off the next morning, went all the way to the signs at the park in Edgemont. Poor signage on the route to the park from the trail… just do whatever takes you there.
Water was open at the shelters for almost the whole hike. Water started getting thin after Custer. Recommend an umbrella for the exposed sections.
