FKT: Matthew Thompson - Watermelon Loop in the Sandias (NM) - 2020-05-30

Got an early start by walking from the gate on Simms Park Rd. It's unfortunate that this FKT starts from a parking lot that doesn't open until 7AM but it's not the end of the world. Had a few navigation errors getting to La Luz, right below the tram and after the last climb before meeting La Luz so there's a bit of GPS backtracking. I was on pace with Dustin to the Rock Fall, lost some time there, and then earned it back from the tram down to Pino. The descent down Pino was crowded but everyone was super polite! Overall an awesome day, can't wait for someone to drop it sub 4.
