Started at 5am from East Croydon. The weather was great, no risk of overheating with the drop in temperatures, while there were little mud or slippery paths to slow me down. It was mostly a good day of fun running, I got almost no rain at all. It was self supported because I stopped at the Coop in Forest Row at km45 and a little shop in Buxted at 65. The second part of the trail is way more runnable and also easier waterwise, with a tap in the church cemetary in Chiddingly and the refill station at Exceat (Seven Sisters). Tough last stretch along the coast, I was driven back by a strong headwind.
