On Tuesday, August 25th 2020 I ran the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore Trail unsupported in a time of 7:48:25. I started at the Munising Falls parking lot around 7 AM and headed east, ending at the Grand Sable visitor center around 3PM. I stopped to filter water 4 times at stream crossings, otherwise carried everything I consumed. I lucked out with high 50’s to start and low 70’s to end, with a beautiful sunny (but very humid) day. The views were amazing, the trail was fairly easy to follow and not overly technical.
