Epic day! Got off to an embarrassingly late start because I thought it was 5.5, then realized most people rated it as class 5.7 (a bit on the upper end of what I typically solo). This prompted me to research beta a bit more and pack a light rope, harness, and nuts so I could bail if things got sketchy. This ended up being entirely unnecessary and I was cruising for the whole route (regretting the extra 6-7 pounds on my back haha). Based on my experience I would say it is sustained 4th/low 5th with a couple 5.4/5.5 pitches and some short 5.6/5.7 sections but you barely notice it. Overall one of the best routes I have ever done! Was still feeling yesterday’s 7k of vert in the legs and really wanted to enjoy the route so I went at a pretty causal pace and ate lunch on the way. I think this could go 1.5-2 hours faster car to car. Such a fun day! Whole climb felt like a meditation (:
