FKT: Melinda Hooper, Jeremi McGee - ENP to BNP - 2023-03-11

Jeremi McGee and I (Melinda Hooper) journeyed from Flamingo Visitors Center in Everglades National Park to Biscayne National Park’s Dante Fascell Visitor Center by foot on 11 March 2023. We were entirely self-supported, getting our nutrition, water, and other supplies from bucket caches we’d stashed the evening prior, supplemented by a few necessary provisions purchased from local shops. We traveled together the entire route, enjoying the adventure of a lifetime together as we experienced the road connecting two of our country’s most beautiful treasures.
