Joint run with Paul Fernandez yesterday to recce the route in advance of today’s attempt at the female unsupported FKT.
Felt yesterdays efforts in my legs for the first few uphills but then pushed on and was able to run it faster than the previous day. Actually found it much easier to push hard when running solo.
Cooler today with a bit of a headwind at times. No supplies needed as only 11 miles and ran first thing whilst temperatures cooler (although still felt muggy).
