On July 19 I did a speed climb of Edith Cavell's East Ridge. This was my first time on the route although I had scouted the approach the evening prior. Conditions were very good, pretty much dry the whole way. I carried crampons and a mountaineering axe but did not need either. I started my watch at the small kiosk at the trailhead and stopped it at the third (western-most) summit. Afterwards I descended the mountain by the scramble route to make a nice loop. This is a classic route and highly recommended.
My approximate times...
Shoulder above first scramble section: 1hr 12min
East Summit: 1hr 51min
Third Summit: 1hr 55min
