FKT: Michael Garrard - Lap of Uluru - 2022-03-26

After taking in the sunrise overlooking Uluru, I travelled by bus to the Mala carpark, a quick change and a few strides and I was off, wanting to get round the loop before the crowds and the heat came to upset the run. A few other people were on the route (walkers, cyclists and segway tours) but they were happy to move aside to let me through.

I was able to store a bag of things, including a dry shirt and a bottle of water under another guests car while I was running, which was a big help as we did not have a car with us for our visit to Uluru.
