My brother and I dropped off a car at Hells hollow (the finish) the night before, then my mom dropped me off at the start of the route for a 6 AM start. I started with one liter of water and did not refill until I reached the stream in McConnells Mill (17 miles or so). There are a couple of points where you could filter from lake Arthur earlier in the route. The McConnells Mill section is much more technical than Moraine State Park.
