Report
On March 20 I ran the north face (normal) route on orizaba. I started at the Piedra Grande hut, summited and returned to the hut via the route. This is the most popular route on the mountain and is likely to see most future fkt attempts. I reached the summit in 2hrs and 2 minutes, then descended back to the Refugio in 46 minutes, for a total time of 2:48:16. I will post a link soon to a report with photos and videos and more info once complete.

I was able to get up,and down in my kahtoola microspikes. I had my crampons in my pack in case but was able to side step and axe my way up without them.
