Starts off flat for the first 25k lots of long straight sections.
My wife and parents met me at Everton Station for a resupply before the trail begins to undulates for a couple of ks then just climbs (not insanely steep but with very few flatter sections) from there until 40k as you get to the very edge of Beechworth.
