A wild and wonderful day. What more to say?
This is truly a spectacular route. An alpine rock enchainment of the 14 peaks towering above the Illecillewaet and Asulkan valleys. Running South to North on the ridges of the Sir Donald group from Avalanche to Terminal South, a crossing of the Ille Nevé to Youngs, across the Asulkan Glacier, and the South to North traverse of the Asulkan group to take you home.
Have looked at this route from afar for a few years now and am filled with gratitude to link it together. One of those days to remember :)
